Hoop framed puffin embroidery, Puffin Cottage

Puffin Cottage is a miniature felt landscape with a puffin and Fuchsia flowers. In the background is a traditional Irish farmhouse with fields of embroidered sheep.

I hand-stitched felt shapes to the background, then embroidered the details and framed the scene in a wooden hoop, which I hand painted.

Each little landscape is made individually, and no two are exactly the same, but the Puffin Cottage design will closely resemble these photos.

Size 6 inches/15 cm diameter.
