This hand stitched felt heart ornament depicts a puffin nesting among the sea pinks on an Irish cliff top. I make the background by layering small pieces of felt, then adding appliqued and embroidered details. The front is then blanket stitched to the plain felt back, with filling added to make a padded heart.

The ornament is 4 inches/10cm wide and has a loop for hanging.

A wonderful way to remember Ireland!
